Celebrating a monumental day in the life of a teenager, takes planning and preparation and none on the details were left up to last minute. Everything was perfect, the weather, the traffic, the shoot, and the environment. 52 Years and Counting

One week ago I witnessed humility and love at its best as my in-laws celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary. Whenever I utter the words 52nd anniversary mouths tend to drop in complete amazement that two people would remain together for such an extended period honoring every commitment they've made to love and respect each other.

The celebration of their Love, Life and Legacy was hosted by their ten children, with and numerous friends and other family members on hand to witness a marriage built on a solid foundation cemented with Love, Trust, Grace, Forgiveness and Perseverance.

To those of us just starting out on the journey of life dream, and dream big the way my father in law did. To those entering into the bonds of marriage be encourage as there is hope.

Marriage was designed and blessed by God and through struggles, successes, joys and sorrow my in-laws are a shining example that the challenges, are worth.

The love and the value they instilled and modeled before their children was returned one hundred fold as they were crowned with  honor and affection by their children and grandchildren.

Proverbs 31: 10 - 13 gives a vivid description of the woman that captured the heart of a young Mr. Robin, 52 years ago. It reads, "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband safely trusts in her, and lacks nothing of value. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life." Well done Mr. and Mrs. Robin, well done.

                                                                        Their awesome children

A prayer for the couple.

A model of Love and Perseverance.
The couple being adored by their daughter.
Staying Power, a vision of strength and togetherness.
                                                                                Beauty and Honor
                                                                         A father's crown, his children
Priceless

I Play Basketball

my bball shoes
Yesterday I played competitive basketball for the first time since high school(HS).. So you're probably wondering, so how old are you? well frankly my dear, that is none of your business, there you have it. But if you really want to know i'm entering the new 20's or so they say. I'll let you know when I get there. Where was I? oh yes, I played hard and aggressive only after I was literally knocked down on my tuckus twice. Then, it all came back to me, that this was a physical game and these ladies weren't playing for fun.
Did I mention that we are the Thundercats, yeah baby from back in the day. I thought I would have had to shine my cat call light to summons the help of Liono to help me off the court. Surprisingly, I was able to walk off on my own after playing two twenty minute halves.
Another surprise? I am not sore but I tell you what, I am MOTIVATED. Tomorrow I will be out running in order to get fit! I'm staying in this game, 7 more weeks to go and I am pumped! My goal is to be able to run up and down without being as winded as I was during the first game.
I promise, I'll keep you posted.
